PATRICK REID

Patrick started out writing campaigns for BBC2 but realised his skills were better utilised as an institutional trader. He cut his teeth at Tower Trading specialising in derivatives and 10 year government debt. This taught him robust risk management from the ground upwards. He moved to Spot FX (buyside) after being headhunted by a New York hedge fund. He then found his true home trading G10. Today he trades using macro, technicals, flows, crosses and high beta correlations using a wide variety of confluence. Technical analysis and Market Profile are key to his trading style. He heads up our Education and Mentoring team. Patrick’s trading experiences spans both retail and institutional. He has been regularly interviewed on The Investing Channel, Core Finance, Opto - CMC Markets, Wall Street and other Financial Media outlets. He is also an active member of the WCIB.
